You have probably never met her, and I definitely have not, yet we both seemingly feel like we could describe her personality…
This is an excellent idea for a site: gossip you can trust! Except, I fear, the execution isn’t quite there yet. I’m all for debunking bullshit rumors, but I’m not necessarily convinced that always reaching out to publicists is the right way to do it. Flacks are paid to keep their clients’ reputations as spotless as possible, and as anyone who has dipped their toes in the murky waters of celebrity gossip will attest, they’re just as capable of lying (if not more so) than gossip sites.
How to beat that? Well, it would be really nice to see this site, say, pick one story a day and fully research it out (third party sourcing, etc.), but that’s probably not doable from a business model perspective. After all, you gotta feed the content monkey! Post post post!
That said, if it helps Rexy get a beej from ScarJo, I’m all for it!
