I was going to post this same thing. Thankfully FluxMatt did it for me! If I were giving career advice to Liz, I would tell her to move back to Chicago for six months and hang out with Brad Wood on a near-nightly basis. I can’t be the only one who feels that his production instincts on her first three records were so integral to the finished product. It’s not that I hate The Matrix or that I don’t support Liz stretching a bit, it’s more that I feel like the timing is right for Liz and Brad to get back together to make a new record. I think even they would be surprised by the amount of goodwill there is out there for them as a tag team.
